Education innovator is new Chief Program Officer for Gradient Learning
Gradient Learning is thrilled to announce that Bailey Cato Czupryk has joined our team as the new Chief Program Officer.
Bailey is a visionary program leader whose profound expertise and dedication to educational equity will be invaluable as we continue our mission to create a brighter future for all students. She comes to Gradient from the education organization TNTP, where she played a pivotal role in reshaping their academic strategy.
Bailey is widely recognized as the leader of the research team that wrote The Opportunity Myth, a groundbreaking report that comprehensively examined the quality of student academic experiences and their long-term impact. Her work has significantly influenced the education field's understanding of student success.
During her tenure as Senior Vice President at TNTP, Bailey led efforts to continuously improve the organization's work, conducted external research that shaped the field, and developed resources to enhance experiences and outcomes for all students, especially those who have been historically marginalized. Additionally, Bailey led TNTP’s Nashville Teaching Fellows program, recognized as one of Tennessee's most effective teacher pipelines in 2016.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Bailey to Gradient Learning,” said Monica Milligan, Executive Director of Gradient Learning. “Her strong reputation in the education sector and deep commitment to equitable outcomes perfectly align with our core values. Her impressive experience and groundbreaking work on The Opportunity Myth will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and evolve our program.”
Prior to joining TNTP, Bailey was an eighth-grade science teacher in Durham, North Carolina, and coached K-12 literacy, math, and science teachers in Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a BA in Political Science and Sociology-Criminology from the University of Oklahoma. Bailey lives in Memphis, Tennessee, with her husband, Josh, and sons, Grayson and Jackson.
We are incredibly excited to welcome Bailey to the Gradient Learning family and look forward to the transformative impact she will have on our partner schools and their students.
